The sheer immensity of SHOT Show is difficult to convey to those who’ve never been there. I mean, sure, you can say there’s about 19 acres of floor space housing around 2,800 booths. But those are just numbers and don’t really communicate just how huge the show truly is. A visit to SHOT is truly an experience. I spent a couple of days at SHOT Show, walking 9-10 miles each day through the aisles, searching for the best EDC knives I could find.

Microtech Knives Stitch

The Microtech Stitch is the production version of a custom collaboration between Borka Blades and Marfione Custom Knives. It’s an excellent combination of an eye-catching design and practical elements. The Stitch feels great in hand and is an imposing figure to boot. The choil and thumb ramp are aggressive, and they allow for excellent control over the knife. It’s set up for right-hand, tip-up carry with a pocket clip.

Benchmade Mini SOCP Dagger

Microtech Ultratech ZBP

The Ultratech has long been Microtech’s flagship knife. Over the years, the design has been tweaked here and there, and this Gen III model is the latest iteration.
