Having a Blast at SHOT Show 2026
I remember the first trip to SHOT SHOW almost a decade ago. To say I was excited was an understatement. I couldn’t sleep. Was I really about to head to the biggest and best firearms-centric gun show on the planet that was strictly reserved for those in the industry?
At that time, most people in my life would say I had no business being there, and I felt like a fish out of water myself at times. While I was employed at a photography studio alongside one of the best in the business, assembling guns that were featured on the covers of the number one-selling magazine at the time (and the no. 2), as well as producing tons of gun porn for the internet, did I really belong?

Fast forward 10 years, and I don’t question myself any longer. That first SHOT Show was a great trip, and it laid the groundwork for the fantastic relationships and friendships that exist in my life today. While SKILLLSET may not focus on gunreviews, the 2A lifestyle and the wonderful people in the industry are certainly a giant part of it. Without the Second Amendment, life in America as we know it certainly would not be the same.
