Multiple Uses
In order to get the most out of my experience using the Allhaula cooler from 5.11 Tactical, I used it in various situations. My first use of the cooler was taking it on a road trip. My spouse and I like to take small trips around our state, even if it’s only for a night or two. Living in the wild west, it gets hot in the summer, so we made sure to pack any beverages we wanted to keep cool in the Allhaula cooler.
The drive was close to four hours, and once we arrived at our overnight stop and pulled out the cooler, we found that every beverage was just as cold as when we first put it into the cooler. We also noticed that it was easy to pack into the car with suitcases and did not take up any extra space. The next time I tried out the cooler, I took it with me while I was grocery shopping. Living in a rural town and being far from town limits means the grocery store is not right around the corner. More often than not, if I go to town at all, I run several errands at once. The day that I took the Allhaula 5.11 Tactical cooler with me, I had four places to go in town. I put ice packs in the cooler, and after completing my grocery shopping, I was able to put all of my perishable items in the cooler. Not only did everything fit, but my frozen items stayed frozen for an hour or so while I ran other errands before heading home.
Outdoor Adventures
I also used the cooler on a day spent in the woods hiking and doing some target practice. I planned on being out in the wilderness for most of the day, and again, it was a warm day to begin with. The cooler was packed with water, sodas, lunch, and some snacks. The Allhaula was about halfway filled this time, and I had to carry it along with my other gear. Of course, it was lighter on my trek back down the mountain, but throughout the day, it was not inconvenient to carry around. On its own, without filling it up, the Allhaula weighs less than 4 pounds. Filling it can add some weight to it, but it is still easier to carry than most coolers due to its compact design.
This cooler would also be great for fishing trips or camping excursions, too, since it’s durable and holds more than it appears. Anything you need or may need for your outdoor adventure can fit inside the 5.11 Tactical Allhaula 30-can cooler. And yes, it does hold 30 cans as promised, I tried! The total capacity is 17.9 liters, so you won’t have to compromise and leave anything out of your packing list.
Tactical Features
Another handy and cool feature of the AllHaula is that it resembles a tactical bag. The outside of the cooler is made out of a Nylon shell, and the entire cooler is waterproof. Not only that, but the zipper is waterproof and has an easy-to-use pull cable. In addition, the seams of the cooler are waterproof, making the cooler ideal for rugged, outdoor adventures.

The shell itself is soft yet hard enough that you can place other items on it without fear of it caving in. You can set other bags on top without fear of the cooler getting squished. The inside of the cooler is insulated well and is a fun orange color. The interior and the exterior are also easy to clean, so you can keep your cooler looking brand new.
Like many of 5.11 Tactical’s products, you can personalize the cooler as well by adding patches on the exterior for your personal touch. Three sides of the Allhaula have laser-cut MOLLE so you can add morale patches to the outside of the cooler if desired.
The Allhaula 30-Can Cooler is also great for first responders. Whether you are headed to training, a day at the range, or you have an extra-long shift ahead of you, this cooler would be great to hold everything you need for a long day out in the field.

AllHaula Dry Pouch
You can also add an accessory with the Allhaula cooler if you need a little more room for your supplies. The Allhaula Insulated Dry Pouch is ideal for small items and can double as a dry bag for gear. This pouch is not included with the Allhaula 30-Can Cooler, but it is in the Allhaula line of gear. It’s 10 inches in length, 6.5 inches in diameter, and 3.5 inches high, and it weighs less than a pound when it’s empty.
As far as how much it can store, you can certainly pack a lunch in there for at least two people, and it can be secured easily and effectively directly onto the Allhaula 30-Can Cooler. The pouch is an excellent addition to the cooler and can easily be attached or removed from the Allhaula 30-Can Cooler.
