Two powerhouses of design and function have joined forces on a fixed blade designed for EDC and field use. Ocaso Knives reached out to Toor Knives for its strength in fixed-blade manufacturing to produce the new Sevra. The combination of Ocaso’s clean design and Toor’s knowledge of fixed-blade construction results in a clean, compact, and capable blade built for use.
The Ocaso Sevra
Known for designs that are as comfortable in the boardroom as they are in the outdoors, Ocaso Knives offers a design perfect for any scenario. The Sevra comes in at 6.5 inches overall, which is right in the sweet spot for daily carry. Not to mention, it is perfect for those small jobs around the house or camp.
The business end of the Sevra is its 2.8-inch drop-point blade, which borders on a clip-point, with a stonewash finish. At under 3 inches, the Sevra should be legal to carry in most jurisdictions. However, it is important to check your state and local laws about blade length and fixed-blade carry.

Constructed of CPM Magnacut and heat-treated to 62-63, the Sevra is ready for anything the outdoors can throw at it. The high saber grind helps to ensure a keen edge, which finishes at the ricasso with a generous sharpening choil. Running a third of the spine is a section of jimping for positive traction when bearing down with the thumb.
The full tang of the Sevra is wrapped in your choice of black G10 or Ironwood handle scales. As a result, you can enjoy clean, modern carry or a more elegant yet functional take on the same platform. Taking this to the next level, the knife comes with a beautiful Italian leather sheath with a pocket clip. With its lightweight 2.8-ounce footprint, it won’t weigh your pocket down, either.

The collaboration of Ocaso’s design sense and Toor’s fixed-blade manufacturing experience, the Sevra feels elevated without becoming delicate. It is ready for the office during the week and the field for the weekend.

Connor Toor Discusses the Sevra
“This collaboration made sense from the beginning,” said Connor Toor, Founder and CEO of Toor Corp. “Ocaso has a very clear point of view when it comes to everyday carry. Their design language is clean, refined, and intentional, with knives that feel just as appropriate in a professional setting as they do outdoors.

“At Toor, our strength is fixed blade manufacturing. We build tools in our San Diego shop for real use, with the materials, tolerances, and performance details expected from a tactical blade company. The Sevra is the result of both brands doing what they do best. It is clean, compact, capable, and built to be used.”
